Extremely impressed with the service we just received at JH Mountain Auto Service. We were leaving for a long road trip in two days when we noticed a slow leak in a tire. We drove over from Breckenridge, they got us right in, diagnosed the problem and repaired the tire, all within less than 30 minutes. That never happens! Very courteous staff and qualified technicians. All in all, a very successful and satisfying experience!

Chit was amazing and helped our family immensely in a jam today. Wonderful guy! Great service and advice!

Came to Mountain Auto with an emergency. One of our trailer brakes overheated. We were not drivable and a long way from home. Called Mountain Auto, gave them our situation, and they said if you can get there, about 4 miles away, they would go to work right away. It requied removing both wheels, repacking bearings and receipting them. We were off in about 4-5 hours. So thankful for their kind responsive service. We thought we would have to leave our trailer and they went out of the way to solve our problem in the midst of busy day for them. What a great group of people, kind, service oriented and wanted to do their best to help us. I highly recommend Mountain Auto Services.

Thanks to Adam and the staff for the service they provide. My daughter is 1000 miles away and I was lucky enough to find Adam to help out in 3 difficult situations. Towing , diagnosis, repairs all handled professionally and cost effective over the past 3 years. Having been in the automotive service industry for over 50 years I immediately had a connection with Adam, honest ,committed, caring, I feel he instills the same in his staff. My water pump went out while I was vacationing in Silverthorne. Adam and Patrick replaced it and got me back on the road in just a few hours at a very competitive price. I wish they had a local shop in my hometown.

J H Mountain Auto Services is great! I have had my cars serviced there multiple times and each time the service and repairs has been excellent. Recently, in October of 2024 I had to have my car towed and serviced. First, the Towing Service people were quick and reassuring when picking up my car ( I was not present when they came to tow the car). Next, the Service Advisor, Adam was the most kind, helpful and patient service advisor I have encountered in my 40 plus years of having cars serviced. Adam listened to me on the phone when I explained what was wrong with my car and he indicated the potential risks that could have occurred. Once the car was at the shop, he answered each of the multiple phone calls I made regarding the repairs. Then he went above and beyond when dealing with the warranty company I asked him to submit a claim. Adam spent two days going back and forth with my warranty company and kept me posted on what was happening at every step. What was truly amazing is that Adam had to go through extra steps in order to submit my claim and he did so with diligence and persistence. When I went to pick up my car, I witnessed Adam on the phone finishing up with my warranty company. I felt guilty that he had to endure the extra steps to help me with what I wanted, and stay late at work on my behalf. When I apologized for all of the hassle, he simply told me "don't worry about it" with a smile. Adam allowed me to voice my concerns about the entire process and he genuinely listened. He did not give me the impression that he was annoyed with me during the entire process. ( That has happened many times at other auto shops.) Adam is a terrific service advisor who knows how to take care of his customers in a reassuring and professional manner. It is because of his service that I will always recommend J H Mountain Services. Thank you, Adam and the J&H Mountain team.

Excellent prompt service after a stressful flat tyre over the mountain pass in a snowstorm. Everyone we met were really friendly and sorted us out with minimal fuss. Much appreciated - great local business.

Our car broke down just as we were arriving in Frisco for a week long vacation. JH took our car in first thing Monday morning and had the problem diagnosed and repaired the same day. It needed new cv joints (front wheel drive car). The car runs well now! JH saved our vacation from a potential car repair disaster.

Had to be towed to shop. They found part and stayed late to get us going. Polite and competent. Would recommend!

I'd give 10 stars if I could. Car trouble is always a pain, more so if you are older, female and 1,000 miles from home. It was Friday night and due to a bad tire, I doubted I could drive another 2 miles so I parked at the office. The next morning the owner came by and said they were closed. Already behind schedule, he was busy with family from out of town and getting ready with his plan to meet others. When I asked if he could look at the tire to see if it was drivable, he took pity on me and said he'd fix it. Thank goodness! Turns out I had 2 leaks. Because he was a good conversationalist and efficient, time went by quickly. I wanted to pay extra for an after hours emergency but he wouldn't take it. What a special man - goes out of his way to help others, honest, affable and a veteran too. With his repair he gave me back my summer vacation knowing I could visit the most remote places and not be stranded. I was sooo grateful. Oh and his repair has held up now 2000 miles later.

Fantastic service, showed up early and got my vehicle towed quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone for their towing needs!!

SO GRATEFUL for JH Mountain!!!! My engine light started flashing on a Sunday. Monday morning, after calling three other places (all three couldn’t even run diagnostics until the end of the week. The people at JH, knew I was stranded, knew I had googled “flashing engine light” (which of course guarantees disaster) and they knew I am a woman. They told me if I could get it towed to them, they could at least diagnose it. Well, an hour later they call, tell me what the problem is and that it'd be an hour or so. I picked up my fixed car an hour later and out of there for $350. The sad truth is, this would have been a scenario that 9 out of 10 garages would have taken advantage of the customer. JH took care of me and my car with integrity, kindness and professionalism. I am so grateful to have found them.
